We have a huge project, the solutuion spans 50 projects growing. Everytime I
want to start the project I have to wait nearly over 1 minute for the
compiler to complete building. This is unaccaptable.
I thought about loading only the project I need into visual studio and not
the whole solution. The problem is that the compiler tells me it cannot find
the referenced dlls (project references) although they are all lying in
their bin and obj...

I got a project called "Forms" that hold some forms and stuff in my
solution.
A argument at startup defines wether to use a From or Console.
My plan was to create a myConsole class that would also allow my application
to display a Console, but i don't seem to be allowed to do this.
I don't see any References that i need to add, so how do i do this.

Hello,
I need to create/instantiate a global class library
project so that 2 EXE's can write to the same class
library form in the same instance of the class libary. I
am thinking something along the lines of declaring the
class library project in a global assembly and then
referencing this global declaration from each of the 2
EXE's. Is the global assembly where I could declare my
global class libary project? How to do that?

I have a solution I inherited from previous developers that includes
web projects whose output type = class library. I need to add web
forms and web user controls, but when I try to add them, it wants to
add the .cs file, not the aspx or ascx files.
How do I do this?
Thanks!

How do I get rid of this. I have defined a start page, and my start
option is setup for my specific start page. Each time I edit the code
of my class library, the "current" context is reset and when I hit F5 I
get this annoying message.
I have to reselect my start page in the solution explorer...each time.

I am having trouble getting debug and release builds to work properly
with project references using C++ .NET and Visual Studio 2003.
I created a test solution, with a basic Windows form C++ project.
I then add a class library, and add a reference to this project in the
first project.
When I do a release build, I see the following in the output from the
DLL compile:
/OUT:"C:\Documents and Settings\Andrew\My Documents\Visual Studio

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
