Hi,
I am looking at wanting to configure and manage some
Performance Monitor logs through a C# application.
Specifically, I want to be able to define and configure
named performance log configurations and be able to start
and stop the logging through my application. I have done
some digging, but have not been able to figure how I would
do this from C#.

I have an ASP.NET application which uses a .NET Web Service as a wrapper to
a COM+ DLL.
Performance for a single user is very good. However, I have noticed that
when multiple requests are made simultaneously to the page, it takes (2 x
number of users) longer to serve the page. Interestingly enough, all users
get the page at the same time.

Hi
Has anybody had any experience of ASP.Net performance counters not updating.
In the performance monitor application when I try to add the groups ASP.NET
and ASP.NET Applications the counters all show 0. In addition, ASP.NET
Applications does not show any of the ASP.NET instances that are running on
the computer. The other counters for example % processor time work fine.

I'm currently building a website for one of the client. There has been
few errors here and there, but just recently the problem is getting worse.
Basically the symptoms is that when the user try to access the page, it
takes really long time to load. However, after up to 1 hour, the website
will run fine again as normal.

Hi,
I'm new to WebServices, and I'm doing some tests (with a small
VB.NET-application) to know the performance-difference between a WebService
and the 'normal'-way of getting data (just connecting directly with a
SqlDataAdapter to the SQL Server). The WebMethod simply gives a DataSet
back, and does exactly the same actions as the normal-Method does.

Are these the same in v2 or are their additional options?
For an application which has a .Net v2 windows form application on
client pc's and connects to .Net v2 web services. Which level (web

number of records to tables (not an unrealistic number, though). After
doing that, we did get "max message size" errors to I bumped that number to
99999999 (see below).
Can anyone please tell me if (1) my config files below look ok, and (2) you
have any other ideas why things might be so slow?
