Please help...Trying to find an article!!

Hello, all!

I am hoping you can help me. I am trying to find an online article
about transferring an image via a web service. It involves encoding on
one end into a byte stream, passing it to the web service and decoding
it on the other end. This was a simple article and I was going to use
it for one-way image transfer transactions rather than a point-to-point
one.

The distinguishing feature about this online article is that the image
the author used was a picture of a guy with sunglasses on! I think it
may have been himself, but I'm not sure. I came across the article and
was very excited that I found a possible solution to a project I'm
working on. I came in the other day and my printout was gone, I have
no bookmark for the page, and my history is only kept for the current
day!!

The article is on one of those sites that include articles with source
code. Also, the articles on this site have a picture of the developer
who wrote the article at the bottom. I could have sworn it was
codeproject.com , but I can't find ANYTHING like this there.

If anyone out there knows of this article or knows of one very similar
to it, PLEASE let me know. I'm almost at that point in my project and
I need to come up with a solution FAST!!

Thank you for your help!

Hello, I have an ASP that takes a connection string and SQL statement in the querystring and is supposed to return the XML representation of the recordset to the Response stream (don't worry, this is a local page, not one on the Internet). I had it working fine with row-returning SQL, such as SELECT, but was trying to get it to work with non-row-returnign ones as well (such as UPDATE and DELETE). Not only can't I get this bit to work, I...

URL: http://oakroadsystems.com/about/donate.htm does not validate. On every INPUT line I get 'Line 17 column 47: document type does not allow element "INPUT" here; missing one of "P", "H1", "H2", "H3", "H4", "H5", "H6", "PRE", "DIV", "ADDRESS" start-tag.' or similar. I'm sure that must mean I have some unclosed element or missing quote mark, but I just can't find it. Can someone look at the page and tell me the obvious mistake I'm...

I have Apache 2.2 server running on Windows XP SP2 with PHP 5.2.5. I have run go-pear.bat in PHP directory (system-wide, all defaults). Running “pear” command lists additional commands. I cannot find “mail.php” on local drives (performed a Windows search). Using “mail.php” from separate PEAR package does not solve the problem, since "mail" class is not recognized then.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
