My hosting company recently upgrade to window 2003 server. The reasearch i
have done so far is that 2003 server will use IIS6.0. It is totally different
from 2000 server and IIS 5.0

On 4th May at 7.45 in the evening my asp.net web sites stopped working on my
development server.
The page that appears says:
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is
currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser
to retry your request.

Other ASP.NET web projects are running OK, but one in particular is giving
me a "Server Application Unavailable" error.
The event log shows, "Failed to execute request because the App-Domain could
not be created. Error: 0x80070005 Access is denied."
This was working earlier today, and I haven't altered anything. I'm sort of
at a loss as to how to fix this.

Hi, I've installed Framework 2.0 runtime on a 2003 Server that had Framework
1.1 installed.
If I run a 1.1 Web app first it runs OK, then if I try to run a 2.0 Web app
I will get the error mentioned.
If I do a iisreset and then do it the other way around then I get the same
error, so run a 2.0 Web app first then it works, but now also get the same
error if I run a 1.1 Web app.
The error also says:

I am creating a web application referring to some external web services. i
have done this last month and was working fine till yesterday. When i was
preparing for a demo yesterday, it is showing the error "Server Application
Unavailable". the error log has the description as "aspnet_wp.exe (PID: 364)
was recycled because memory consumption exceeded the 151 MB (60 percent of
available RAM).

Hi,
there is a 500;13 page one can configure in the website properties, but
..Net Framework 1.1 also delivers the "server too busy" message
sometimes and the IIS custom error page does not seem to catch that.
How would I customize the error page then?

Yes, I wasted the past two days trying to fix this.
Yes, this is on a Win2003 Server.
Yes, this machine is a domain controller.
Yes, I seen the dozens of KB articles like this one:

But the problem is that 99% of these are for ASP .NET 1.x and this
is .NET 2.x which I just installed to try and get .net working for the
first time ever. I've see all the HACKS to get .net 1.x...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
