Are html tags allowed within meta tags? Specifically, if I have html
tags within a <definition> tag within XML, can I use the definition as
the content within the <meta content="description> tag? If not, is
there an easy way to strip the html tags from the <definition> content
before inserting the content into the meta tag?

I have a webservice which implements a webmethod called PrettyXML. This
webmethod loads an XML file and returns the XML, which is then displayed in
a webcontrol (textbox) on a webform.
If no XML file is found, it just returns null atm. I would now like to alter
it so that if the XML file is not found, some HTML is sent to the webcontrol
instead. The problem with this is that I cannot return Html because the
public method is XmlDocument,...

I know we can have formatting tags in the web service description, but can we
have formatting tags in the web method description. Somehow I remember we
were able to do taht but when I tried recently couldn't. One of my colleagues
says that after SP1, this is one of the changes. Thought I would get the
thoughts from this group too.
