Indigo early access

I'm trying to find Indigo early access release on MSDN subscriber downloads.
I can't find it. Does anyone know where this is located?
Thanks,

I downloaded the Indigo/Avalon CTP release. The first step in the
installation instructions is to install the Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 (and
uninstall any earlier betas). They give a link to
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=36862 but I can't find any mention of
a beta 2. Does anyone know where this VS2005 beta 2 can be found?
Thanks,

Now I know what the problem is. A search for visual studio 2005 beta 2 on
Google turned up news articles indicating that the release date for the beta
2 have slipped into April.
Do I have any alternatives, besides waiting till April? Has anyone out there
been able to use this Indigo release without the VS beta 2? Is there a CTP
release of VS2005 that is equivalent to the beta 2 release (but less fully
tested) which will work? Or can I just proceed with the Indigo install
without VS and work with it at the command line?
Thanks,
- Jim Robertson

I was told that this version of avalon/winfx was specifically tied to
the Feb CTP. did you attempt to install vs.net Feb CTP and then install
winfx?

So with MS looking towards Longhorn Indigo messaging, for Service based Applications Integration, its brief dalience with adoption of industry wide Web Service standards is over. This is a major dissapointment we were looking towards a more positive attitude towards interoperation with third party products. Is it not possible for MS to ensure that Indigo has some compliance with emerging Asynchronous/Message based Web Service open...

I just went to an Indigo Roadshow meeting at the University of Washington. It was a very clear, clean informative presentation. Indigo is really good stuff -- it's a new layer that lets people build real Internet applications -- like p2p chat systems, and out of process server components addressible by http...all the 'real' stuff that it used to take COM or hardcore java to do. Now, the thing is, the Marketing Dweebs are wanting to...

Here's my points from the Indigo Roadshow at U. WA in Seattle last night: It’s not longer called Indigo; it’s WCF, Windows Communication Framework WFC is an amalgam of material that has previously appeared in .NET, MSMQ, COM, WSE (Web Service Extensions) 2.0. The principle of WFC is acknowledgement that programs are becoming interface and message based, and that much of that messaging that used other protocols and be done just using...

Hi I am writing some kind of a storage system that have to deal with large amounts of data passing over the net, Now, I Wonder... traditional programming would use win32 Winsock DLL as the means of data transportation... now, indigo is the new communication layer of the CLR, - Does indigo uses Winsock internally? - Is it possible to use indigo for such a task? - I assume using indigo has it's performance penalty ( doesn't it ? - Does...

We are in the inception phase of architecting a .NET based multi tier application. Due to the .NET technology advancements, we have decided to go with .NET 2.0 beta 2 for development. One of the objectives is to implement SOA. Based on initial analysis, it has been decided (subject to change) to use web services as the communication channel. Since, Indigo would target the next generation SOA, we are not clear on what will be available...

The process of verifying that an Object exists and that a specified Property or Method is valid is called Binding. There are two times when this verification process can take place: during compile time (Early Binding) or run time (Late Binding). When you declare an Object Variable as a specific Data Type, you are using Early Binding so the verification can take place during compile time. When you declare a Variable of the generic Object Data...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
