Hello all.
Can someone help out ? I found this PHP code that works just fine, however,
I am trying to put it back into its original Javascript form.
I am still learning the syntax, etc. for Javascript, so I'm not really sure
what needs
to be removed and kept.
I was trying the basic search/replaces, but always ended up with Javascript
errors.

I am attempting to develop an application for a client that will monitor Web
Traffic on a Users PC (from a tray application that the user downloads) - I
am NOT interested in blocking or limiting internet access, I only want to be
able to monitor (listen) for ANY internet access by the User from their PC
and then once that is done to "sniff" the packet of info to determine

At my company we are looking at deploying clients for our client/server
app outside our firewall, which will then require our postgres box to be
internet-accessible.
Does anyone out there have experience with this or recommended best
practices? We have been looking at either (a) tunnelling everything
over ssh, or (b) just making sure that users have "strong" passwords and
requiring "md5" authentication in pg_hba.conf.

Hello,
I really need to use volatile System.Int64 for a .NET v1.1 program
in C#. But the compiler complains "a volatile field can not be of type
long". How to work around it? Or is there any other way to get similar
effect for Int64 type?
Another question less urging question is, why long variables can't
be used as volatile? I understand that in 32-bit arch. 64-bit operations are
not atomic, but seems that there could be locks or so...

(soapserver-class of PHP5). A PHP test-client worked fine and achieved
the requested data from the service's server.
Using the wsdl-file of the webservice, wsdl.exe generated a C#-proxy

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
