setting text value of a bound textfield

mjw
I am new to VB.Net 2005 and would like to thank anybody in advance who
may help me out.
In my windows form application I am using a BindingNavagato r tool strip

to display values of my database fields which are bound to my
tablesBindingSo urce. This works fine. What I need to do when I select
the new data row entry from the tool strip is pass one of the fields a
text field value from another TextBox on the page. I cannot get this to

work. My code always shows blank. I also thought I might have to set
the value to the bindingSource
but can't figue out a way of doing it.
Private Sub bindingNavigato rAddNewItem1_Cl ick(ByVal sender As
System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArg s) Handles
bindingNavigato rAddNewItem1.Cl ick
PassFamilyId()
End Sub
Private Sub PassFamilyId()
Me.FamilyIDText Box1.Text = FamilyIdTextBox .Text
End Sub
Thanks Mike

Hi all, this sounds like an easy enough thing to do, but after spending 45 minutes searching google and various javascript sites I can't find out how to make a textfield (textbox or whatever you want to call it) in an html form be a mandatory field. I'm guessing it would be on the "submit" click, and a pop-up would appear saying to enter data in teh field. Can anyone recommend a good javascript site? thanks in advance.

I have an unbound RTF2 control in an Access 2003 form which I set to show either unformatted text or else text with words and sentences highlighted. I do this by setting the PlainText property, getting back the rtfText and then adding the highlighting strings and resetting rtfText as below: sqry = "Select * from TextContent where FileID = " & ID Set rs = CurrentDb().OpenRecordset(sqry, dbOpenSnapshot) With rtfUnformatted ..rtfText = ""

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
