I'm posting my problem experience and solution I found here for other

I have a web application that uses Forms Authentication with Active
Directory to control access. In this web application, I have search
page that utilizes the Windows Indexing Service (MSIDXS provider).
For reasons I'm not aware of at this time, setting <identity
impersonation="true" /> in the web.config causes an error whenever you
try to search.

Authentication on IIS6 back to Integrated Windows authentication. The error

I know it is possible to have deployable applications during login of win2k
and win xp systems through active directory, but i was wondering if it is
possible to create a deployment module from VS.NET to deploy a VB.NET
application across a network domain through active directory, is this

I have a program that i have written in vb.net. The program will be used
from within a windows 2000 Active Directory domain. Is there any way to
give FULL trust to this application that will be distributed via no-touch
deployment from an internal web server WITHOUT running the Framework Wizard
to adjust security?

I have an application (that has unmanaged code) and when I launch it without
'FullTrust' permissions (LocalIntranet_Zone), it crashes. When I set
'FullTrust' permissions, it launches fine. Is there a way I can compile the
application such that it won't even attempt to launch without correct
permissions instead of just crashing? Thanks for any help.

I am using the new "web deployment addin" in VS 2005 to output my web
site. The web site is correctly output (assemblies generated in the
\bin subdirectory). The web site on my developement machine (WIN 2K
OS) can be accessed and works correctly from other workstations (i.e no
problem here).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
