Hi,
I have a extended datagrid, in which I am setting values
at a given cell in the grid using
grid = val;
The grid has NewRow creation set to false
But sometimes setting value at a existing row is adding
newrow in the grid, which is staying temporarily and when

I've been trying to figure out a good way to do this but haven't had much
luck, any input would be greatly appreciated.
Basically, after a datagrid is sorted, how can I get the primary key value
of the item selected by the user? That is, not the datagrid index
'location' of the item the user selected, but the value inside a column of
this item the user clicked on.
I would use the CurrencyManager in a windows application but I'm not...

My startup form say Form1 has a datagrid say datagrid1,
when I click a grid item in datagrid1, I wanna show
form2. In my code, I achieved that with:

How do you access the value of a cell in a Windows form datagrid?
I know this is how you would do it using an ASP.NET datagrid:
DataGrid1.Items.Cells.Text
However, "Items" is not available in the Windows Forms datagrid.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi, everyone.
I got a weird problem for my C# program. In my program, I use a DataGrid to display data. I bind the DataGrid to a DataTable. I made all the cells in DataGrid ReadOnly as True. So I can only Click on the cell but not change them.
Now, after I display the data, I clicked on one cell, then I clicked a button which will *virtually* go to the other form.(The reason why I said *virtually* is because I only use one form for...

Greetings,
I am trying to find out how to do something that on the surface seems like
it should be very simple to do.
I have a datagrid with a datatable bound to it using the SetDataBinding
method. What I am trying to accomplish is to detect if a value has changed
in any cell so that if a user closes the form without saving first, I want to
prompt to save changes. I don't want to prompt if there were no changes.

Hi,
I'm unable to access values in my Datagrid. Datagrid thinks it hase only 1
Cell. So here it is:
The Datagrid is binded in PageLoad, AutoGenerateColumns is false, Columns
are added on PageLoad like this:
BoundColumn Bound_Column = new BoundColumn();
Bound_Column.DataField = name; ( + HeaderText,

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
