Session Data lost randomly and Session State expired early

CJ
Hi

We have Session Data lost randomly and Session State expired early.
Our Intranet Application uses Window Server 2003 and .Net Framework 1.1. We
set Session Time out to 60 minutes. but user Session Data lost randomly and
Session State sometime expired early.

I pretty run out the solution to fix this problem. Althoug we use Web Farm
but we have Sticky IP to let user request go to the same server all the
time. We turn off the Web Garden to set value to false. And Performance
Counter of .NET Application restart counter didn't increase. Finally, we
bypass Anti Virus Software Scan on our Application Folder.

Do I need to do any special setting on client side IE 6 Browser ?

After trying those solutions. Session Data still lost randomly. I am
wondering if someone can give us some suggestions to solve this issue.

Please help. Thanks in Advance
CJ

Hi, I am having a problem with my session state through sql server. This used to work, then all of a sudden (the only change was setting up replication in the sqlserver database) it stopped working. I ran uninstallsqlstate.sql after stopping w3svc and then restarted the w3svc and rean installsqlstate.sql. This works fine on my machine and my session variables work again....but I'm an administrator on the database. I go to another...

Hi I have an ASP.NET application that connects to an Access database. Everything works fine except for the Session object. Data in the session object is lost after I've made a call to the database. To test, I've created two test aspx pages. Test1.aspx contains two buttons. The first button sets values in the session object and then navigates to Test2.aspx. Test2.aspx only displays the values in the session object. The second button...

Our website contains session variables that are used to validate if a user is logged in etc. We have found that these variables are randomly lost while navigating the website. We set up some basic code (as shown below) which used a meta tag to refresh an aspx page every second. It tests whether there is any content in a session variable, if not then it writes a timestamp to a text file, recreates the data in the variable and continues....

Hi Gang I need help. I have an ASP application that in a nutshell allows data entry on a main page. The problem is I'll have users that enter some data and save it. Then they'll enter some more data and then leave it for 30 mins, 2 hours or whatever. So when they come back they've lost the session state and when they try to save their data, the application goes to a friendly error page saying they've lost the state.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
