my DataGridview contains 4 columns and 3245 rows.
when AutoSizeRowsMode is set to "ColumnsAllRows", it freezes the application.
Initially i thought it was slow, but i went to take a poop and came back,
and control still has not returned.
with this property set to "None", all those rows load immediately.

Hello,
I am populating a datagridview from a datatable and filtering the number of
rows with a dataview object. Is there a way to retrieve the rows displayed
by the datagridview into a separate datatable without having to loop through
each column in the datagridview? Or is there a way to retrieve the rows from
the original datatable filtered by the dataview into a separate table? I
only want to copy the rows from the main table that...

Hello,
Following an example at
http://www.vb-tips.com/dbpages.aspx?IA=DG (by Cor Lightert and Ken Tucker)
on binding a dataRelation to a Datagridview for sqlClient, I was able to
view rows in datagridview2 that corresponded to a selected row in
datagridview1. Great article/example.

Hi All
How can I get the datagridview to redraw after changing the
rowtemplate.height at runtime ( it is databound to a datatable)
I have tried datagridview1.refresh etc to no avail (The row height stays the
same)
If I repopulate its datasource (datatable) then the rows resize OK, but that
is an uneccessary overhead.

Hi all...
This is a good one. You'll like this...
I am working on a course management tool that allows certain Courses
to be cross referenced with Job Roles and, when they are, whether the
course is a priority course or not. Simple.
Because there is alot of data stored for each course, I am using a tab
control with several pages. The Job Role cross-referencing comes on

DataGridView takes very much time if I update a lot of data
I have a DataGridView which has a DataSource (a DataTable) of 3000
rows. If I want to update one column of every rows in the DataTable,
my whole appliation freezes with any response. After a lot of time, it
comes back.
If I set the DataSource to null before changing the data and set it
back after changing. There' s no problem. But I lost the status of the
DataGridView, like...

I have a DataGridView that I NEED to display the data that is scanned with a
barcode.
The columns are:
Product Number Description Location Units On Hand Untis Scanned
Min On Hand Max On Hand
All columns are retrieved from the database except Units Scanned. That is
calculated by the # of times the operator scans a barcode.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
