As it says in the subject, a two column layout (plus header and footer
boxes). I feel the left column really needs to be fixed width (151px) as it
contains an image, while everything else is fluid. However this only works
in IE 6.0. In Netscape and Opera I found that the auto width of the right
column is 100% so it jumps down below the menu if the left column is fixed -
not...

I'm using ASP.Net and I'm wondering if code generated using the grid layout
will run on netscape browsers? Also what version of netscape?
I've read that Grid Layout uses DHTML and the IE and Netscape have different
implemtations of DHTML.
This seems like an important thing to know being that my app is an
"Internet" app...

I have some servlet-generated tabular data that I need to present, so I'm
using an HTML Table. In some cases, it can be quite large. I'm flushing
the servlet output every N lines to push the data to the browser as it
generates, and I've used "table-layout: fixed" for the table's CSS class.
It works pretty well in Netscape (7.1 and higher) - the table is drawn
pretty much as the rows are received by the browser. However, Internet...

Can anyone point me to a white paper discussing the advantages / disadvantages to using “grid layout” vs. “flow layout” on webforms? I’m looking to address performance issues in particular.

generated content via jsp):

Most outer div is positioned absolute (if not then it will not grow
when content inside div.body is greater than width of window of user
agent), anyway anyone knowlegable can see it in sources...

Hi,
I am new to this newsgroup and need help in the following questions.
1. I am workin' on a GUI application. Does C# provides Layout Managers the
way Java does to design GUI? I know that it can be done using the designer
but I intentionally don't want to use that. The one reason is that you
cannot change the code generated by the designer. The other could be that
you have more free hand and control to design your GUI.
2....

Greetings again to everyone,

What will you need to use the grid? A table with standard markup and an ID to call the script that will turn the table into a grid
Parameters:
tabelaID => id of the table that will...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
