Hello.
I created two projects, each containing the aspx and aspx.cs files for
various web forms.
I want to copy the aspx and aspx.cs files for this one page I designed
from the project it's in now to another project.
I copie the files over in the filesystem, but the files don't appear
when I open the target project in VS .NET.
Perused online help, naturally, but wasn't able to achieve this even
following their instructions.
Thank in advance for any help,
Google Jenny

Hi,
Copy your .aspx,.resx,.as px.cs file from source project directory and paste
it to target project directory , open target project ,select project name in
solution explorer and click on refresh button , files will now b visible in
solution explorer , right click the file and select 'include in project' from
menu.

I am having some troubles with a project I am working on not building
correctly.
I converted an old ASP project to .Net and then have been adding pages
to the project in C#. This all works ok, however when I try and
compile the project I get two error messages:
1) Could not copy temporary files to the output directory.
2) The file 'bin\IADB_ASP_NET.dll' cannot be copied to the run
directory. The process cannot access the file...

I am trying to COPY, not deploy, ASP.NET application. I know that asp.net
application
can be copied without any problems by using "Copy Project" menu item, but
only if it
doesn't have any Crystal Reports files. Unfortunately, my app has few
crystal reports
included any somehow I get "missing keycode" error. I do have to mention
that I don't have
any problems deploying the app, since I provide CR merge modules and License
Key.

Hi,
I have created an ASP.NET application (let's call it FooBar) with VS.NET on
my local machine, residing in http://localhost/FooBar. Deploying it to
another folder on my machine works well with FrontPage Server Extensions,
but I don't manage to deploy the application to my web provider http root
folder.
When I run Copy Project, I get an error message just saying 'Unable to
create Web project 'myname'. Not found.'.

I am somewhat new to VS.net in general. As a result I am prone to make
mistakes. When adding some new feature to a a form it would be nice if I
could back it up before trying something that might mess things up. Also,
there are times when a new form is enough like an old one that the best way
to create the new report is to simply make a copy of the old one, rename the
copy and add modifications. So the question is, how to backup or...

save another cop of the form so I can just import it code and all.
Thanks

Hello,
I'm running an asp.net, intranet web application using .net framework 1.1 on
IIS5.1 / 6.0. Through the web application, I would like to press a button on
the web page, have another window (not web-based or part of current
application) brought to the front and focused (findwindow api) and have the
button scrape the contents of the focused window so the contents can be
parsed and entered into the web application.
Ideally, I would...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
