Hi,
I am a newbi in C# and i was trying to use the ILDASM command to check
out the MSIL code of some compiled code. Unfortunatley I can't get it to
run. I get the error "Windows cannot find ILDASM". Does anyone have a
solution to this?

I'd like my application to be able to detect default email application (MS
Outlook or whichever is set to be default) so that the user can enter the
email body, address, subject line and send the email.
I have found lots of references how to do the same using SmtpMail class but
all of these send an email programatically without opening default emailing
application.
Any help will be greatfully appreciated

Now, all these companies are making products that can crash ildasm, thus
preventing assemblies from being disassembled. Is there specific code I can
add to my assembly to do this? Also, I read about a /owner option for ilasm
that appears to only have been in the BETA version of the framework. Why
was this not included? It seems it would've provided some level of ildasm
protection.

ILDasm retrieves the MSIL code of an assembly (exe or dll). So everyone can
obtain my code!

I would like to open ILDASM, programatically.
I could use
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("....\ILDASM.eXE");
But in that case i'll have to hard code the path...
which i dont want to....
any ideas on how 2 go bout doing this???

I am looking for a way to programatically change the .net version of the
virtual directory that I am creating within a aspx page.
As part of creating a new customer in my asp.net 2 application, it
automatically creates a virtual directory and configures it. I am using the
DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry class in C# to do this. I am unable to set

i want to look at some dlls generated by a web app i am working on with
ildasm however all the dlls generated in the temporary directory get renamed
to App_Web_.dll, similarly the vb source files are also renamed.
given the number of dlls i dont want to open each up in turn hoping it is
the one i want to look at. is there a recommended way to look at web app dlls
using ildasm?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
