flushing user events

Is there a way to flush the events generated by user?

IE, having a user clicking like a fool, trap the first click, handle it
on some way and then at the end of the processing flush away all the
queued clicks netween the first click and the now.

hope this was clear,

Giulio

You might want to look at
System.Windows. Forms.Applicati on.AddMessageFi lter()

Hi. I'm having trouble flushing sys.stdout. I've written a small example to illustrate my problem (see below). In short, I expect it to ping "received hello", sleep for 5 seconds and then print "received world". Instead I get nothing for 5 seconds and then both statements pop out at once. As you'll no doubt gather from the example, the problem I'm really trying to solve is sending message back from one process to another via a pipe....

Good afternoon, Can anyone help me with flushing the buffer in ASP.NET. I have a set of functions that perform a series of maintainence operations. As these functions are called sequentially, each contains a status as to the success or failure of the particular process. I want to be able to send to the client each output string at it happens. The way it is working right now is that it is storing the output until all of the functions...

My boss asked me to build a program to create a report with logon/logoff events for all users within our windows domain. I'm using .Net to do so and decided to have a program running on the Domain Controler to listen to all new events and send them to a database. This last part I haven't worked on yet, cause I can't tell which events are relevant to write to the db and which are not. I have managed to listen to all the security log...

I have quite a large report, which takes a couple of minutes to run. I'd like to show line-by-line updates as they become available, but since I'm using IE6, Response.Flush() doesnt work. I know that I could break the table up into a series of smaller tables, but I prefer not to do this unless I have to - are there any other alternatives for flushing rows of a table? Thanks

Hello I want to make two kind of windows: 1. Poping up - such window will appear in front of the other windows (receive focus). 2. Flushing - such window will not appear in front of the others but it's tab (in task bar) will blink - so the user will see that something happens there. Which functions could i use for those two purposes ?

I'm currently running Python 2.5 on Windows 2003. I'm not sure if this is strictly a python issue but I was wondering if anyone has seen and/or knows how to fix this problem. From a linux system using an xterm terminal type, I telnet into the Windows box and execute 'python script.py'. script.py is simply a script that takes in user input using raw_input("prompt: ") and prints what the user inputted onto the screen. However the prompt...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
