Hi,
From time to time, I receive following error message when trying to access
my website.
When the error occurs, I have to recompile my dll until the error disappears
(this without changing anything in my code).
Where does this error come from ? What can I do to solve the problem ?
Compilation Error

This one has me stumped. I'm looking at support files for a C# textbook,
including three ASP.NET applications that use Access databases. I create
virtual directories for the applications in IIS (running Win XP SP1 and Win
2000 SP4 dual boot - error occurs under either OS), then load the app into
the VS.NET 2003 IDE. When I attempt to run the application, I get the
following error in my browser, instead of the startup page:

Strange one here, got an ascx with the following line in it:
<asp:Image id="galleryPhoto" runat="server" ImageUrl="<%# Gallery.Filename
%>" />
All works fine, and my Gallery object has a Filename property.
I've just added Gallery.Directory, and changed the above line to this:
<asp:Image id="galleryPhoto" runat="server" ImageUrl="<%# Gallery.Directory
%>/<%# Gallery.Filename %>" />

I was experimenting with generating a Word file using ASP.NET, and lauching
the web app did not cause any problems.
Then out of the blue, this is happening to every asp.net app that I attempt
to launch on my machine. When I click on the "Show Complete Compilation
Source". this is what shows. Since it is happening to every ASP.NET app, I
think my machine has been seriously screwed up. Has anyone seen this?

hi everyone,
currently we are testing the performance our application (asp.net
based CMS) ... for that reason we wrote a "spider" that starts
webrequests for all relevant pages which results in filling the
pageoutputcache on server side.
so far so good. if we start one spider at once our application works
fine, but if we run more than one spider tool at the same time the
asp.net process works for a few minutes returning correct http...

I recently implemented error processing on my .net website, where I send
myself an email from global.asax on an application error. In the last two
days I have gotten a "The file '/detail.aspx' does not exits" type
error--with two different file names. In both cases, I searched my entire
source for the '/detail.aspx' reference and it doesn't exist.
What could be causing this error? Text of error email I sent to myself

I was testing the buffer size of system call, read(), and found a
strange error on Ubuntu 7.10 server. The code is attached.
If the BUFFSIZE is set to from 128 to 255, the code will produce an error as
read error: Success
If the if statement (and the perror) is removed, the error disappears.
I have tried the same program on Sun Solaris 5.10 and got the same results.

today I forgot to include some header, then I found the error message by the compiler is quite strange.
so I want to know exactly the inner details of the compiler impletation,if possible.
and I want to know what does the standard say about this situation.
here is the code just to demonstrate the error.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
