Dear Sir/Madam,
I just have a simple question. What is the difference between Visual Stuido
..Net 2002 and .Net 2003? Can I upgrade to 2003 from 2002? Can I develop
for Windows CE or Windows Mobile from .Net 2002 Enterprise Archirect? Thank
you for your time.

So basically between 2002 and 2003, it doesn't have much difference, except
that there is an most updated .Net framework and the abilitly to develop for
mobile devices. I am just asking this question because I have already have
2002 EA, and just try to see if it is worth it to purchase the 2003 EA.
Many thanks.

that will give you a good start as to what is new. as for your other
question, yes you can develop for devices if you download the mobile
internet toolkit, more information is available here http://support.microsoft.com/default...pr=MITK#faq276 vs.net 2003 has this functionality built in.

When I ordered my new laptop, Sony didn't offer Access 2003 in its bundles.
Recently, I have begun to design Access databases using an copy of Access
2002 from my previous laptop. It works fine, but I would like to have all
the office apps on the same version. So I have a few questions:
1) Is the file format the same as 2002? Can 2002 users read 2003 files?
2) What are the major reasons for upgrading to 2002 ?

I have several Access 2003 mde databases. When I try to open them in
Access 2002 I get the following error:
"The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is

Interestingly I can open the mdb files of the same 2003 databases in
Access 2002 without problems. To my understanding the file formats of
2002 and 2003 are the same and this problem shouldn't exist. And why
is it only the mde files that are giving the...

I've recently upgraded to VS.NET 2003. I had written
routines to implement an autoselect for a combobox in my
VB.NET 2002 program.
In VB.NET 2002 it worked fine. In 2003 it stopped working
at all.
What I've found is that, within the subroutine I call from
the KeyPress event of the combobox, the SelectionStart
property in 2002 is set to 1, in 2003 it is set to 0 (this

Hi all,
I learnt C# 1.0 using VS.NET 1.0. I have brought myself two ASP.NET 1.1
books but I will be using my VS.NET 1.0 IDE when learning ASP.NET 1.1. Am I
in any way going to have problems working through my ASP.NET 1.1 books with
using only VS.NET 1.0 (ie does ASP.NET 1.1 do things a certain way that VS.
NET 1.1 does but VS.NET 1.0 cant)? Is there much difference between VS/ASP.
NET 1.0 and 1.1?? Also if any one knows yet, how much...

Hi all
I've taught myself C# 2002 using VS.NET 2002. I've recently brought myself
an ASP.NET 2003 book. I will work through this ASP.NET 2003 using VS.NET
2002 and C# 2002. I don't fully understand the differences between the VS.
NET 2002 and VS.NET 2003.
Will I restrict myself in any way learning ASP.NET 2003 but only using VS.NET
2002 and C# 2002?

We are running an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL 7 back end. Our network guy is
upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server
at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has
licenses for Office Pro 2002, he wants to upgrade to that.
I've been saying that we need to upgrade to Access 2003, not 2002, even if
Office is kept at 2002. We are also looking to do a fair amount of...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
