Hi
I have a DataGrid that I am using to display a .xml file (that has a schema
in a .xsd), like this:-
ds.ReadXmlSchema(sDataPath + "Data.xsd");
ds.ReadXml(sDataPath + "Data.xml", XmlReadMode.InferSchema);
grdXXXX.DataSource = ds;
FormatGridColumns(grdXXXX, ds.Tables); // my routine below.

Hi,
I'm using a ComboBox, some Textboxes, and a DataGrid to represent a
many-to-many relationship between Person and Course. Each time that I change
the value in the ComboBox (which for now is the OID of Person), the
information of the person matching the selected OID is shown in the Textboxes
(Name, Address, id, etc) and the courses this...

I have a DataGrid connected to a DataSet (read in from an XML file). The
documentation that I've read suggests that I attach a DataGridTableStyle to
the DataGrid to allow for additional formatting. Each of the three columns
are text fields so I created and added DataGridTextBoxColumn to the
DataGridTableStyle. I set various properties of...

I know how to do this stuff so easily in VB6.........
3 questions.
I have loaded a grid by binding it to a dataset. All is well with that.
1) How do I retrieve the value of a column when a user clicks on a row? I
use a Sheriden grid in VB6 and would do something like:
MyString = MyGrid.Columns(n).Text

Any known fixes for the wacky right-alignment bug in the WinForms datagrid
(VS2003)?
I've tried Ken's workaround
(http://www.windowsformsdatagridhelp.com/default.aspx?ID=4bfab32d-9cff-4f5c-ba95-49bb9074a8bc),
but I get no alignment at all when calling the class.
George Shephard's site, while imminently useful, does not have an anwer for...

Hi,
I need some advice with a binary column in a DataGrid. Everything seems
fine except for one thing. In order to check a box, I have to click on it
once to select it, and then click again to check it. Somehow this doesn't
seem right. Does anyone know if this is normal behavior for a DataGrid, of if
there's something I need to know?

Does anyone know if you can setup a custom column format on a datagrid such
that if a specific field (say the PwdFlag) in your database is set to a
value (such as 1), that the control will dynamically have another column
(say DisplayText) that is mapped as a DataGridTextBoxColumn format the data
as if it were a password (like with asterisks). ...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
