I manipulate MSAgent AcitiveX object using VBScript at client side, I
met a wierd problem when I debugged my ASPX page. when msagent recognize
a phrase and fire event, my vbscript capture the event and do something,
including make the agent do some animation and speech, then open a
browser window using 'window.open "www.google.com", "Google" '. the code
works fine when I view the ASPX page with browser inside VS.NET, when

Hello,
I have been learning vb.net 2003 and am tring to
install an application called Peedys Pizza place, which
requires a download of peedy.exe (Animated char files).
I downloaded the char file and when I try and run the
app, it tells me that file is not in the /char
directory. Where is this refering to ? I do not see any
directory called "Char". I also get error saying that I
do not have text to speech or speech to text installed.

I am tring to downloand a character file from microsoft
agent website. I download the animated character peedy
and when I try and run the exec it gives me an error not
a valid win32 application. What can I do to get this to

I have been trying to use MSAgent in .Net, I can use it successfully in
vb6 (on the same machine), but when attempting to add the control to a
form in vb.net i get the following message:
"One or more types in the assembly unable to load".

Hi,
I am writing an application making use of MSAgent and a dll for
voice recognition. The dll & MSAgent are provided in the following

My problem is that my MSAgent character is speaking, and the text
being speaken is acting as an input for the grammar of the voice

Hello. The following program does not work for me:
1. We load components of Microsoft Agent and disconnect a computer from
Internet.
2. In VB .NET we create the project, appears Form1.
3. On Form1 we place Microsoft Agent Control 2.0 with name AxAgent1.
4. We double-click on Form1 and in the appeared procedure write the
following code:

I would like to add training card help to my VB.NET app and/or maybe the MS
agents.
How can I do these? Can I add training card help to a VB.NET app? I have
never done it in any version or language. Please give instructions or links
if there are some or tell me if it isn't doable without hacking.

hi I have made a CHM file and I have linked my .CHM file with the controls on
the Form in my application which is made in C# 2005. Its working fine . But I

Trying to get started programming MSAgent using Visual Basic 2008 Express. I
have VB6 working code, but cannot figure out the new syntax for setting up
the initial declarations to get MSAgent working. Can somebody get me started
with a simple Form with a textbox and a button where if the user clicks the
button, Merlin will popup and say whatever is in the text box? I'll expand

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
