How can I edit crystal reports created with 8.5 in Visual Studio .net

Hi.

I have quite a lot of crystal reports created with Crystal Report 8.5. I
need to change most of them , and the only tool that I am allowed to use is
Visual Studio .Net 2003. However, after I opened those reports , I can't do
anything. Not even adjust the fields' position. Please let me know what
proper way should I use to edit those reports with VS .Net 2003.

Howdy,

VS.NET 2003 is a pain like that. Too bad you can't use 2002.

Anyway, to edit the reports you'll have to include them in a project.

Good luck.

I'm having a problem with this product. When I was using "Visual Studio.NET 1.0" to develop a project, we had no issues, but now after migrating to "Visual Studio.NET 2003" it does not use the same properties and methods. The error we're having now is: The base class includes the field 'CR_Viewer', but its

My questions are as below. 1) Is there any online information available detailing the similarities or differences between the reporting services and the Crystal Reports...

I've written a Visual Studio .NET application (WinForms app) and put a Crystal Reports for .NET report in it. It is a very simple application - one regular form and another with the crystal reports viewer on it. When I run the application on my development machine, I can see the report just fine. However, when I install the application onto another machine and try to run the report, the form with the crystal reports viewer comes up,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
