Merging rows and columns in DataTable

Hello everyone, i'm new here and i need a little help from some
DataTable experts.
I'm using a System.DataTabl e to fill a Datagrid in a window
application, and I need that some rows and columns of the datatable
get merged together(the same effect as rowspan and colspan in HTML).
Is there anyone who can help me? I'm really in trouble.

Cheers
Enrico

Hi, My problem: Merging two datasets deletes parent elements, preserves all children. I've created two dataSets. Each use the same schema, parent-child nested tables. The first dataSet is loaded with historical data read from an XML file. The second dataSet has current data filled from a dataGrid.

Hey all, I am very new to ASP.Net (and .Net in general), but that isn't stopping the boss from wanting to begin new projects in it. This latest project has me kinda stumped and after a couple days of struggling, I figure asking you all (the experts) will keep me from going down some dark and dangerous road. The project I have is a fairly simple one, in theory anyway. The gist is to create a page where the user enters an IDNumber,...

Experience Posters, Sorry if this is not the right group to post this question. He is my issue; Is there a way without the use of 3rd party controls, to transpose the rows of a datatable to columns of the datatable? Any help would be great.

I'm trying to use DataSet.Merge, but it works like an Append, and I don't want this. I want to update dataset data. I have two files with same fields and the same xml schema. For example: File 1: <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes" ?> <Traducao xmlns="http://www.tempuri.org/traducao.xsd"> <comp formulario="Form1" componente="btnOk" traducao="" id="-1"> <item>0</item>

Hello, I am populating a datagridview from a datatable and filtering the number of rows with a dataview object. Is there a way to retrieve the rows displayed by the datagridview into a separate datatable without having to loop through each column in the datagridview? Or is there a way to retrieve the rows from the original datatable filtered by the dataview into a separate table? I only want to copy the rows from the main table that...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
