Code Samples (like clipboard ring), moving to another machine

Hello All,

I wonder if somebody can help. When programing in dotnet (c#), I have
created an additional tab on my toolbox. I have called this tab 'Code
Samples'. Into this tab I drag lots of commonly used chunks of code. I
am then able to drag them back into my projects whereever needed. This
works kind of like the clipboard ring, however the samples do not get
removed at a restart etc, but instead always remain available. They
are also available when I go into any other projects/solutions on the
same machine.

However I also do some programing on other machines (laptop, home pc
etc) and would like to be able to copy these samples onto them. Is it
possible to duplicate these samples? If so, is it just a case of
copying them across? Where are they kept? etc.

Thanks

IDecker

p.s please don't use this email address as it is an address I use just
to access
groups (having been stung by too many spammers in the past).

I've seen how people have snippets of code stored over by the tool box and then can drag them into a code page. What do you call this and what's a reference on how to do this? Thanks. -- moondaddy@nospam.com

My question is more generic, but it involves what I consider ANSI standard C and portability. I happen to be a system admin for multiple platforms and as such a lot of the applications that my users request are a part of the OpenSource community. Many if not most of those applications strongly require the presence of the GNU compiling suite to work properly. My assumption is that this is due to the author/s creating the applications...

In my app, I use clipboard to paste some html text into ppt. The program runs correctly in VS2005 development server, and IIS 5.1 in WinXP SP2. But it failed on WinServer 2003. The thread blocks when any clipboard functions are called.( ClipBoard operations must be in a STA thread, so I create a new thread to do it) What should I do if I want to use clipboard in IIS 6? Is there any config work about clipboard permission need to be done?...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
