I work with the bit-vector(http://search.cpan.org/dist/Bit-Vector/)
and squid lib as well. But I meet a weird situation now...Let's see my
code.
I wanna creat a hashtable in a function, and then return the address of
the hashtable.
But my hashtable looks empty outside the fake_table().
The hashtable just manage the pointer I insert. Don't really "copy"
anything into the table.

Hi
I have windows application(C#) that consumes a Web Service.Now my problem is
with clients whom installed my application and use SQUId 2.5/Stable 4 , they
keep getting HTTP error 407 proxy authentication failed.
here is what I have done I am pssing the proxy username/password and domain
with my application Web Service proxy with luck @ all , all other kind of
proxies work (ISA and all)

Hello,
I am trying to download a few files one after another from a remote
server. Problem is that I don't know how to, or if I am able at all,
set a time out for download. I don't want to time out whole script,
just a part if file won't download in 2mins then skip to the next one.
Previously, I had a Javascript implementation with AJAX, this time I

problem when running our .NET 2.0 client application, which communicates with
a .NET 2.0 web service on our server.

I'm writing a driver in Python for an old fashioned piece of serial
equipment. Currently I'm using the USPP serial module. From what I can
see all the serial modules seem to set the timeout when you open a
serial port. This is not what I want to do. I need to change the
timeout each time I do a "read" on the serial port, depending on
which part of the protocol I've got to. Sometimes a return character

While messing about with some deliberate socket timeout code I got an unexpected
timeout after 20 seconds when my code was doing socket.setdefaulttimeout(120).
Closer inspection revealed that this error in fact seemed to come from the os
(in this case windows xp).
By inspection of test cases the error.reason from the deliberate socket timeout
looks like
'timed out'
whereas the windows caused timeout error.reason looks like

I've searched high-and-low, and can only find examples online of how
to do basic authentication to connect TO an external Web Server, but
not how to go THROUGH a (corporate) Proxy, thus my question here.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
