Problem sending foreign characters in a SoapException

Hi,

I'm building a Web Service that in some conditions has to send some
particular exceptions. In those cases I'm using a SoapException. The
message of those exceptions includes some special characters like
á(Alt + 160) ñ (Alt + 164), etc. And I catch the exception on the
consumer of the Web Service. Everything works fine until I set the
Web.Config element <CustomErros mode="On"/> on the Web Service. When I
do this the special character on the SoapException message change to
ñ and á

I really need to display the characters like their are. What should I
do?
Thanks.

the Journey of Foreign Characters thru Internet Xah Lee, 20051101 There's a bunch of confusions about the display of non-ascii characters such as the bullet "•". Our web service was working fine until we installed .net Framework 1.1 service pack 1. Uninstalling SP1 is not an option because our largest customer says service packs marked as "critical" by Microsoft must be installed on their servers. Now german Umlaute (ä, ü, ö) and quotes are returned incorrectly in SOAP fault responses. This can be...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
