Are you looking for generic C++ programmers or C++.NET coders in special.

What kind of work would you expect them to give?

What would be an average monthly salary for that position?

Thanks in advance, Sebastian Dau!

G'day I'm looking for a script that can search multiple instances of Google (or other search engines optionally). The user types in a single word in the text field, presses ENTER or the submit button, and the browser launches several instances of Google with the single word + other search terms. I would like to have this script because I'm a translator and frequently need to look up the meaning of words. I Google using

Hi there; A while back when I was in Albany, NY, I came across what looked like a really great C++ book for the experienced programmer. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy it and take it with me because I was already carrying too much stuff to fly home with it. Unfortunately, I've been looking online and in every bookstore I come across ever since, and I still can't find a copy of it again. Do any of you know which book this was? Here's...

I am looking for a C++ class library that can store data in a tree. The class library needs to be: 1.Available under a licence like GPL, LGPL or BSD so I can use it in my GPL program and 2.Usable on multiple compilers (specificly, Visual C++ on windows and GCC 3.x MingW on windows. If it works on GCC on Linux, thats even better but not essential) What I am storing in this tree is data for a directory tree (its going to represent the...

There are many techniques and code snippets that will open a popup calendar so that you can pick and insert a date into Access. However, I have been unable to find a method to insert information and/or display a full screen calendar so that the user can see activities for a month. Is the MS Calendar OCX and/or some API appropriate for this or should I be looking at a third-party product. I am using the Access 97 runtime. Any and all...

What class / method should I be using to get the full path to an embedded resource ? In my case I have an .xml file that my app uses, it is set as embedded resource, and I have a control that needs to load it, but I do not want to hard code the path since that may change for different installs. i.e. GetPathForResourceOfName ( myResourceFileName ) thanks, JIM

Hi, I found many "full" applications for study in VS 2005 like the TaskVision that was "translated" for .Net 2.0. But I'm looking for more "full" examples to study, including here things as Winforms, Smart Clientes, Web Services, Best Practicies and so on, all for VS 2005. Anyone have some link to me? :-) Thanks,

Hi guys, I'm looking for a full-text search engine to build a GUI-based search application. It should be fast, regular expression support, rich interfaces/API provided and free. Is there any one? dotLucene is far beyond my goal, since I don't like its index-based feature.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
