I have some old CBT software written in a package called IconAuthor.
It uses Access database to store details of lessons, graphics
filenames, sounds etc. The software creates a user DSN which points at
an Access ODBC driver in the windows\system folder as opposed to the
system32 folder that Windows XP uses.

We have written a windows ATL server application which runs as a windows
service(system account).
Since the system account does not have file-write prmissions,we are
searching for a way how to introduce logging mechanism into this

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
