there is no semicolon after B's declaration.

this should work fine. what about myUnmanagedClas sA and
myUnmanagedClas sB? are they proper?

The other day I restarted my machine and suddenly couldn't open any of my existing VB.Net projects. I reinstalled the (1.1) framework and got around that one.... but.... Since then, if I try to build a setup project I'm getting "unrecoverable build error" from VS.Net. I've tried repairing my VS.Net and installing the SDK installer 2.0 but am still getting the same error. Any suggestions very welcome as I'm completely scr*wed at the...

Sometime ago on the comp.lang.c, I saw a teacher's post asking why C compilers produce so many error messages as soon as a closing bracket is missing. The response was simply because the compiler can't tell where a bracket is missing.... a few weeks have past, I requested a feature for the delphi ide/editor "automatic identation of code in begin/end statements etc" and today when I woke up I suddenly released a very simple solution for this...

Hi, guys, I am practicing the setup wizard of VC.Net. When I build the setup project, I am always told "unrecoverable build error". I really have no clue what's going on here. I tried this on W2K and windows XP. Start the setup wizard, select the setup for a windows application, and include the release .exe file, and then build. I think this is all I need to do. Anybody can tell me what's going on here? Thanks a lot for your attention....

In order to the what problem is it, I open a new project and just use one form, use one text box and one button and try to deploy by setup wizard. Finally it also said "unrecoverable error!". What's wrong with it? It's just a simple application, why it got this...

We have done some testing with mixed and forgotten results. So I'm hoping that asking here can clarify some issues for us. Right now we do one weekly warm backup. Throughout the week there are multiple unrecoverable loads. We are tyring to come up with the best backup strategy for this system? It is a large dev data warehouse. What happens when a table is loaded unrecoverable and then we need to restore (no DDL has been done)? Can we...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
