How can i design an ISAPI Filter that works with IIS-6.0 on win 2003 platform.
I already have an ISAPI Filter that i designed for working with IIS 5.x and
that works fine .
I am finding a problem with the ISAPI Filter designed for IIS 6 since the
SF_NOTIFY_READ_RAW_DATA is not supported.
Can anyone suggest an alternative for the above notification?

We have an existing ISAPI filter that performs authentication for all pages
on our web site, including pages we are now writing for ASP.NET. The filter
is pretty basic, receiving the user name and password in clear text and
checking them against a database of users. The filter has been in use for
some time with classic ASP pages.

I've been looking into options for URL Rewriting in .net, and to be honest,
I haven't seen anything that's easier than the old Classic Asp solution with
an ISAPI filter redirecting to an .asp page with responsibility for handling
the redirect.
I'm now planning to use this solution with my next .net project, and was
wondering if anyone else out there has done this already, and what problems

This is a simple ISAPI filter, which is used with SF_NOTIFY_AUTH_COMPLETE
option.
When I restart IIS and try to open a site's page - browser shows "Page can't
be displayed".
In Event log I see a lot of these errors:
Could not load all ISAPI filters for site/service. Therefore startup
aborted.

I am currently coding an ISAPI filter and I would like to use some .Net
functionality within the filter. However, when I include calls to anything
in the framework, it locks the dll and will not release it until I restart
the machine. Even after restarting the W3SVC and removing it from the list
of ISAPI filters, it still has a lock on it. Any ideas why?

I have setup a Sharepoint 2003 server which has an ISAPi filter installed,
now I want to develop a HTTPModule which needs to run before the ISAPI
filter. So my question is, if a HTTPModule and an ISAPI filter are installed
on the same web virtual directory, which one will process first?

installation program itself runs fine, but when I examine the
properties of my web server, my filter has a big red down arrow next to

I am attempting to install PHP 5.2.x on Windows 2003 with IIS 6.0.
When I go to install 5.2.1, it gives me an error when it tries to
start the server I get an error. So I try installing 5.2.0. This
installs, but almost none of the modules that I selected in the
installation are active. I try to activate them in php.ini, but that

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
