Hey all,
I just realized you can very easily implement a sequence grouping function
using Python 2.3's fancy slicing support:
def group(values, size):
return map(None, * for i in range(size)])
>>> group(range(20), 4)

I am presently trying to display a list of items INLINE using an image as a
seperator..... and having difficulties....
See below for 3 seperate sets of html and css files. Each set does something
different. Ideally I would like the result of Menu 1 but instead of having
the pipe effect border on the right of each choice I would like to replace
that with an image of some sort.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi all,
I'm developing a VOIP application in wince 5.0 which supports rich
features like video conferencing, media player, FM radio, etc. I found
there is a VOIP template called "TUI" and I may base it to support my
fancy UI. But it will spend me a lot of time to modify TUI because I'm
not familiar with "ATL" or MFC.
After surfing MSDN online, I found Visual C# in VS2005 may be a good
choice to design a fancy UI because it can create a...

Hi all. I just downloaded and installed the new Office suite from MS
with their new 'ribbon' based UI. I think it's pretty cool and AFT*
for a new UI paradigm. I hope it sticks.
Anyway, I'm wondering how to implement a gui like this with Python. I
don't think wx or qt or gtk or tkinter support this sort of fading and
glowing type of effects... or do they? I played with wx way back in
2000 or so (C++ version), and it certainly didn't...

I have the following regular expression: (\s+-\s+|\s+\/\s+|\s+\\\s+|
\t)
Is there a better way to write this? I am looking to capture the
following characters - / \ and tab. There can be 0, 1 or more space
before and after these seperators.
Right now it captures these characters if there is a 1 or more spaces
before and after each seperator. However, there are instances where
there will be 0 spaces before or after or both before and...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
