Hi All,
Thanks for reading my question.
I am a newbie of VC .Net, and I am facing a problem about importing
DLL.
I have searched from the web and I download a simple sample. And the
code is as follow:
/*************** *************** *************** *************** **/
#include "stdafx.h"
#using <mscorlib.dll >
using namespace System;
using namespace System::Reflect ion;
int wmain(void)
{
//First we load our assembly
//using the display name
Assembly *a = Assembly::Load( "Abc");
//Now we get the type of the object
//we want to instantiate. Since our class is
//part of the assembly we have to use the full
//name of the class with assembly name
Type *t = a->GetType("Abc.C lass1");
//The MethodInfo class is used to
//describe a method. It holds metadata about
//a particular method. We get the MethodInfo for
//our Hello method
MethodInfo *mi = t->GetMethod("Hel lo");
//Just showing off some public properties
Console::WriteL ine("Return type of *{0}* method is *{1}*",
mi->Name,mi->ReturnType);
//We create an instance of our object.
//Here the default constructor is called.
Object *o = Activator::Crea teInstance(t);
//Prepare our argument list
String *args[] = new String*[1];
args[0]= S"Nish";
//We use Invoke to call the Hello method
//on the object we got from CreateInstance above
//We pass to it our arguments as an Object array
String *s1=static_cast <String*>(mi->Invoke(o,args) );
Console::WriteL ine(s1);
return 0;
}
/*************** *************** *************** *************** **/
However, I have a runtime error indicating that
System.IO.FileN otFoundExceptio n:" File or assembly name Abc.dll, or
one of its dependencies,wa s not found."
Noted that I have placed the "Abc.dll" in same folder of the
executives.
Any Suggestion are welcome. Thanks in advance.

The pythonic way of programming requires, as far as I know, to spread a
big application in plenty of more manageable scripts, using import or
from ... import to connect the various modules.
In some cases there is a further complication: module importing through
an indirect mechanism, like: exec "from " + xxx + " import *".
A part the fact that I have not understood the "real" difference
between import and from ... import (or also from......

As an application programmer, I'm not well versed in the material
aspects of computing (memory, cpu, bus and all). My understanding of
imports in Python is such: the __main__ program is the center piece
which holds the programs reference: globals, functions, classes,
modules etc. The objects of this file (functions and classes) are
directly accessible; 'import suchModule' s objects are attainable
through the *qualified name*...

Hi, I have researched but have not found a good solution to this
problem.
I am importing large amounts of data (over 50 Meg) into a new mysql db
that I set up. I use
>mysql dbname < importfile.txt
But I keep getting timeouts and errors due to the data being too
large. I know that since if I break the imported data into multiple
chuncks (by importing a few tables at a time) then everything works.

I am importing a .csv file into Access that has 37 fields. My problem is
that sometimes the last field only has data at the end of the column (it
looks like when you import a file into Access, for the last field, it
only checks the top few 'cells' to see if there is any data, if not, the
field is not imported).
How do I 'force' Access to import the field, regardless if there is data
in the top of the field or not? For instance, I might...

I have been attempting to create a reservation planning form in excel
that imports Data from an Access database and inserts that information
automaticly into the correct spreed sheet and the correct cells within
that worksheet. The Excel Book is made up of 12 worksheets named

Column 'A' is reserved for 19 rows named "room1 - room19". The data I

If I sent a user an empty database container - dB with no tables and I
needed them to import their tables into it and one of their tables was a
hidden table with the prefix Usys, is there any way in code I can get that
table imported without them having to go to options and show hidden tables
and then import it manually?

I want to be able to import an Excel spreadsheet into Access 2K using
the macro command Transferspreadsheet.
However, the file I am importing (over which I have no control)
contains some records that are "dirty" i.e. the field contents do not
comply with the expected format (date/time) and they end up in a
seperate table of import errors. (The records in "error" are actually
empty fields.)
This is a regular event and I do not want to...

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to use unmanaged code using P/Invoke. I
wrote a simple function which takes in 2 buffers (one a byte buffer, one a
char buffer) and copies the contents of the byte buffer into the character
pointer. The code looks like the following:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include "stdafx.h"
BOOL APIENTRY DllMain( HANDLE hModule,
DWORD ul_reason_for_call,

I am importing a XML file and have not been having the best of luck in doing
this, but I do have the following solution below. I will not be importing
more than 2000 records at a time, but will be importing data to many
different tables. Can someone explain if there is a better way to do what I
am doing without having to call a stored procedure for each row (like I'm
doing below)? A good example would be great as my understanding of xml or...

Hi,
I've found the following behaviour on importing a variable from a
module somewhat odd. The behaviour is identical in Python 2.5 and
3.0b2.
In summary, here's what happens. I have a module, oddmodule.py
(below), that defines a variable, OddVariable, by assigning a value A
to it. The file I execute, mainfile.py, imports and re-binds
OddVariable to a value B. I have two test modules which import the

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
