Are you including <malloc.h> and if so, are youn including it after the file
that signals the precopiled header?

Hi, I recently installed a 60-day trial of .NET 2003 on my development system. I made tests with previous personal projects (which compiled ok with VC6) and some open source files, and keep facing the same problem with many of them: I keep getting errors such as: ....\WinUser.h(8028): fatal error C1001: INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR (compiler file 'msc1.cpp', line 2701)

If I try to declare an object of type fstream (or ofstream), I run into a compilation error refering to an __something function or variable. Please note, I am including <fstream>, not <fstream.h>. I do know that much. Thanks in advance for any assistance. John

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
