Exporting MFC Class to DLL (VC++ 6.0)

Hi All,

I need to export MFC Class to DLL using MFC in static libraries. I tried to
export CListCtrl derrived class. I used __declspec(expo rt/import) in
declaration. Application run, but some messages was not sent to ListCtrl
(item click, scrolling by mouse ...).

Can anybody help me?

Thanks.

Hi everyone! I get a warning (C4251) if I exports a class which has an stl data-type as member (in my case a std::map<std::string, std::map<std::string, std::string> >). I know what the problem is (std::map must have an export declaration) but I hope anybody can give me a piece of advice how I can resolve this problem. Thanks in advance

Hello, is there a way to export the makefile a given project (or solution) is using to build that project (or solution)???? Compiling and linking from command line I don't seem to be able to reproduce what Visual Studio .NET 2003 is doing when compiling my VC++ project. In VC++ 6 a menu command allowed it ... but in VS .NET I can't easily see any such command. Thanks.

I'm porting an app from vc++6 to vc++ 7.1, and am having some trouble exporting functions. I can export simple functions from a DLL by simply putting __declspec(dllexport) in front of them, and I can then use them just fine in my app. When I try to export a function with a CString argument, though, I can't seem to get anything to work. I can get the DLL to link, but I always get a link error on my app. I've tried the __declspec(dllexport),...

I am familiar with creating lean and mean WIN32 DLLS and exporting C functions via a DEF file (or cconv decorators), but I am wndering how I can export my C++ objects from my DLLs? Ideally, I would be able to use the classes (and their methods) by calling the objects and invoking their methods - is this possible, given the fact that the C++ compiler decorates names ? looking forward to an informed answer -tkx

I want to export my C++ classes in a DLL, using ordinal # - rather than by name. Will anyone care to enumerate through the steps required to do this? I am already failiar with exporting classes and symbols (both C++ and C) from a DLL. In the case of C functions, i also know how to export them by ordinal # - my main problem revolves around how to do the ff: 1). Obtaining the mangled names from the C++ DLL 2). How to map them (if any...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
