Serialize Region

Hi,
I'have a class that contains a Region and I need to serialize it.

I'm istalled ISerializable interface and I try to serialize Region as
following;

Serialize:

info->AddValue("Q",R etinoDisegno->GetRegionData( )->Data);

De-Serialize:

RetinoDisegno = new Region();
RetinoDisegno->MakeEmpty();
RetinoDisegno->GetRegionData( )->Data = dynamic_cast<By te[]>(
info->GetValue("Q" , RetinoDisegno->GetRegionData( )->Data->GetType()));

But de-serialization has no effect, region is empty;

What 's the correct process for serialize Region?

Hi
Andrea

If I serialize an object from with the same class, any fields with the NonSerializableAttribute still get serialized but not if I serialize from outside the class. Why? This is a simple case to reproduce the problem. Notice that m_table should NOT be serialized. public partial class Form1 : Form {

When I try to serialize an instance of the LocationCell below (note Building field) I get an error in the reflection attempt. If I remove the _Building field it serializes fine. I tried renaming Building._Name to Building._BName in case the duplicate name was the issue, but that didn't help. Is there a native way to serialize nested objects, or will I have to write my own? public class LocationCell

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
