Hi all,
Anybody seen where if after a Build with errors the Task List won't pop up
when you click on the tab? I have to shut down the whole IDE to get it to
come up. This is in VS.NET 2003. I don't remember this occuring in
version 2002.
Thanks,
Mark

I would like to set up a task scheduler in a database but I am not
sure how to go about it. I would like to have a list of things that
need to be attended to for out clients eg. report being sent, phone
call made to client, request for docs from client etc. I would want
the list to appear showing which tasks are still to be done when the
database is opened. As each task is completed it would disappear from
the list. I am not sure how...

I've forgotten how to add a particular line to the task list in vs2003
before there was a context menu that you can click on to add something to
task and come back to later.. but now I can't find it in the context menu..
the task list window is still there but how do we add to it ?
thanks

Hi,
I am using C++ in Visual Studio .Net and I just discovered that I can use
/TODO to setup a task list which is great for me who have poor memory.
However, I can only view individual task list per file. Is there anyway
that I can see the consolidated task list per solution / project?
Thanks in advance.
Andrew.

I have added task list items to my VB.Net project. After checking the project
into source safe, another user gets the latest version. When the other user
opens the project, the task list is empty.
How do I keep a list of tasks that will stay with the project?

I use 'TODO's to add items to the task list to remind me of things that
I need to do. I right click the task list and choose Show Tasks > All
so that all items are shown. This works fine.
Hoever, if I perform a build and there is a build error, the task list
shows ONLY the build errors. In other words the setting of the task
list has gone back to Show Tasks > Build Errors. I then have to right
click again and reset it to All so it...

Hi,
I am a newbie at C#. Here is my current problem:
I want my application to iterate through the list of tasks presented in
task manager. I want it to look at the task names and if a certain task
exist in the task list I want to kill it (as nice as possible).
I started the task manager with the following row:
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("c:\\windows\\system32\\taskmgr.exe");

Well, I used to use DEBUG as a Task List token, but now I cannot,
since whenever I comment out a Debug.WriteLine, it gets added to the
list!
So, what do you guys use for a Task List token for some code that is
just a temporary debugging only code, when you want to mark it so that
you don't forget to remove it later?

Hello all,
I am trying to find out what the field is in Outlook that holds all
the people's email addresses for when the final completed task report
is sent. Where is it and how can I access it using Access 2002?
Client wants to have access to who in the chain reassigned the task.
In other words, person A created the task. They assigned it to F. F
worked on it and then re-assigned it to C. Ditto from C to L.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
