Does anyone know of a keystroke logger that has been written in Python
for Windows machines? I'd like to see such a script and use it as a
point of reference for a real-time backup project that I'm working on.
Basically, I'd like to be able to capture all keystrokes from the
keyboard buffer and write them to a text file so I could reporduce
emails, documents, etc. in the event of file loss that occurs between
nightly backups. For example,...

I've experienced this several times now: VS net spontaneously vaporizes
controls from a dialog or reverts to older code, even if the dialog has
(supposedly) been saved.
Has anyone seen this?

Dialog blows out upon bad keystroke.
Please pardon the Q if it has been asked too frequently, I could not find it.
When I hit a bad key in and uneditable control (ie <RTN> when tihe focus is on a button), my program exits.
How can I prevent this?

I have a modal dialog that currently does all of the following except item
4.
1. lets users select a graphic from a list of thumbnails (and when selected,
displays the full-size image in a preview DIV)
2. when users close the dialog, the application receives the URL to the
selected graphic.
3. the modal dialog lets the users upload a new graphic if the dialog does
not present them with one they are already happy with.
4. upon uploading...

Hello all. Not sure which group this problem best relates to, so I'm
posting to both with a follow up.
I started learning C# and .NET last august for a project for my
employer. The project involved extending explorer by creating a
context-menu extension and allow certain actions to be performed on
certain files. I was able to get that up and running through much
searching on google, but the overall goal of the projects seems like it...

Hello Everyone,
This problem's been causing me a lot of trouble and I'm hoping
somebody can help me out!!
I have a dialog-based MFC application in visual studio 2003. I want to
call a function called "OnPrintMsg" from my dialog class called
"MyAppDlg.h". The function needs to be called from another class called
"Client.cpp". The Client class (derived from the CSockets class) exists
as described below.

I have a form listview and have used the MouseDown event to launch a
modal dialog if a particular cell is clicked.
This works fine but upon closing the dialog I am left with a dotted
rectangle drawn between where the original click was and where I
clicked to close the dialog. Until another mouse click occurs this
rectangle resizes as you move the mouse. I guess this is because the
MouseUp event hasn't fired yet (or fired on the modal...

How can I capture the name of the file a user right clicks in the open
file dialog using the common dialog box control?
I can capture the name if a file is double clicked, or OPEN is clicked
after selecting a file, or CANCEL clicked, but if they choose to right
click on a file and choose OPEN WITH option, then I can't seem to get
the name of the file they selected.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
