I am using the php4-cgi Debian package which is based on PHP 4.3.4.
I have problems when running php4 on the command line. If I say something
like
$ php4 index.cgi
a number of variables are not initialized. For example, $HTTP_GET_VARS is
not set. To get it set, here's my workaround:

I use outside .jpg picture files in a Windows Form project. I try to compile
use csc.exe at command line.
I use resgen.exe to generate a resource file like:
resgen.exe Form1.resx MyNameSpace.MainForm.resources
then use csc to compile:
csc /nologo /t:winexe /out:app1.exe /res:MyNameSpace.MainForm.resources
/win32icon:App.ico *.cs
The output exe file has the same size as compiled in VS.NET IDE, however, at
runtime the program still...

Hello,
I don't get any output until the build finishes using this command line...
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe"
test.sln /build debug /project proj1
under older visual studio versions, it used to show each file as it was
being built.
Is there a command line flag I can add to get output.

Hi,
I've been working with devenv from the command line for the last
couple of days and cannot
get to build the msi file correctly. if I excecute the devenv.exe via
the command line or batch file
it creates a .msi file with 5k size, however, if I build my solution
via the IDE then I get a correct .msi with 9MB. I am using the devenv
in a batch file as follow:

Hi, I'd like to stop command line build by one project build failed.
To do that I've created simple AddIn (see code below), that works fine
for IDE and does not work for command line.
In the AddIn I have only two non-trivial methods:
In OnConnection I add my event handler to OnBuildProjConfigDone, and in
the event handler I executed Build.Cancel.
In IDE - no problem.
When I execute
I see that AddIn works and Build.Cancel is called but...

Does anyone know why using System.Diagnostics.Process to "wrap" a console
application does not always transmit the I/O, depending on what processes
you're trying to "consume"? PowerShell, for example, does not seem to
process any I/O through the Process object.
I know that in the case of PowerShell there are better ways to "wrap" the
console by directly interfacing with the assemblies of

Hi,
I've written a program which has both a command line interface
and Windows form interface, however it isn't quite working
correctly.
When run from command line with no arguments it should display
the Windows form. The form is being displayed but the command
only returns when the form is closed. I want the command line to
return immediately, leaving the form displayed.

I wanted to make it an exe through command line compiler(why, I need
to do some additional work) to I did a build in IDE and took the
compiler parameters and wrote a batch program to create the exe. It
compiled successfully and created the exe. But when try to run it I
