Howto: Access port forwarding in Windows Server 2003

As the built in interface for forwarding ports in Windows 2003 Routing and
Remote Access has several 'difficiencies' (like the ability to forward a
RANGE of ports), I would like to write an application to do this.

Any ideas on how I would go about accessing and modifying these attributes?

Thanks

I have various small html websites on my windows server 2003 pc, these function quite happily from directories under D:\websites via ports 81, 8081, 8091, 8082 and of course there is the dafault web site on port 80. I have installed MySQL 5.0.0 and php 4.3.8, but i can't get them to work for another website on port 8090. If I use the command line and go to c:/php and run php -i, I can see the test_info file information, including the...

Hello All, I have been bounced on a new issue this time. My problem is, I have a configured SharePoint Team Services 2.0 installed as default website, which prevents the creation of any new ASP.net projects or even working of existing ASP.net website. So, I am thinking to create a new virtual web server, where I can launch the creation of asp.net application the regular way through Visual studio.net 2003, If this works, I would like...

I am having yet another issue with Windows Server 2003. This time, the web service (a file import web service) appears to run except for one odd message: "ActiveX component can't create object". There are no other statements to indicate what object cannot be created. Otherwise, everything on the test Windows Server 2003 works fine—all import data updates correctly. Unfortunately, my normal development environment is not Windows...

Ive used the New Serial Port Namespace in Net Framework 2 to write a Serial Port Monitoring Application. Basically the program opens the serial port and listens for any data that is received. It then added it to a Rich Text Box showing the data in either Hex or Text as well as any control characters. The program works perfectly on Windows XP but when I transfer it to a machine running Windows Server 2003, nothing happens. By that I...

Hi: I'm having problems reading a Microsoft Access file from my ASP.Net app on a Windows Server 2003 machine. The error message: The Microsoft database engine cannot open the file, <my_file>. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. I've read some info about this (microsoft support article q316675) but I'm still confused on what to do?

I have set in our server that user can access, modify, read and write folders/files but not able to delete folders, subfolders or files. The problem is everytime users trying to save a NEW file in the server, they would receive a message saying that the file is already exist and whether or not the user want to replace the file. Sometime the file that has been saved is...

I'm a longtime *nix guy and am fairly comfortable "over there" although I am a developer and not a sysadmin, mostly J2EE stuff. I recently got the Microsoft "Action Pack" as a partner. It has legit licenses for a bunch of Microsft software for development/evaluation purposes. I decided to install Windows Server 2003 - the first time I have ever installed a Windows Server. I decided to install Apache rather than try to learn IIS, and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
