Hi y'all,
I am using a Created Global Temporary Table in DB2 OS/390 version

ODBC but while I try to update it, I am getting following message.
SQL0526N The requested function does not apply to declared temporary
tables. SQLSTATE=42995
Anyone has any ideas why I...

Is there a way to open an OLE DB database from within Access?
I would like to use the Access GUI with its table and query
explorer to examine a database only available through an OLEDB
provider interface.
I have seen several references on how to open an OLE DB
database through VBA/ADO code but I wouldn't know how to go
from there to...

I need to convert a 17mb access 2000 db to Oracle and house it in a
Citrix farm. The issue: we have never converted an Access Db to Oracle
but can probably use Oracle's Workbench to assist with this. Also - the
citrix folks do not want us to keep the FE in Access as the queries and
other activities consume a lot of power. The users will be in...

I have an application which contains an Access database with linked

Previously posted on comp.databases.oracle.misc. Apologies to those
who read both groups.
I have created a link using generic connectivity from an Oracle
10.2.0.1
instance running on windows 2003 32 bit server to an AS400/DB2
database (V5R2 AFAIK).
I can execute Select, Insert and Delete statements via the link
without error. When I...

Hello,
I've a problem with SQL Server and OLE DB. SQL Server handles NULL as
NULL whereas empty string is stored as a space. This is correct when
using OLE DB but with ODBC an empty string gets converted to NULL with
SQL Server.
When migrating from ODBC to OLE DB we get errors when inserting an
empty string into foreign key columns....

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
