Question about going into WindowsForm(.NE T) in managed c++

Hello!

I was able to compile my aplication in Managed /clr code.
How can I refere one form (Windows Form(.NET)) in my app. It's ok to add it,
but how can I go into that form? I was thinking of having a button click on
one form, and go into the .NET form on that click. But I can't figure out
how to do this.
I can't refer it to the namespace, can I?

I included the Form01Net.h file in my app.
in the button Click I have this code.

void CTestdotnetView ::OnBnClickedBu tton1()
{

testdotnet::For m01Net* Larsi = new testdotnet::For m01Net();
}

I receive C3828 error msg

Hi there, I posted a thread in another group. I could not get satisfactory feedback. I would like to try if anybody in this group can help me out. My plan was, to develop components at server side (something like EJBs). For data entry and operation application functions, I can use C#.Net. For reporting and enquiry functions, I can use ASP.Net. You may aware that these two packages have a lot in common. Under J2EE environment, I know...

I have an existing VC6 application using the MFC. I am able to pass CString and other parameters from such a VC6 dll to an unmanaged MFC dll (compiled in Visual Studio .NET). Now I want to use .Net functionality, i.e. calling methods in managed code. How do I pass CString variables for input and output usage, i.e. providing and retrieving char arrays? Regards, Klaus

Hi all We are an organisation that use C# currently and we have some members who are not yet trained in .Net or C#, some staff have requested they use VB instead (probably due to their background). Given that we are already using C# I think adding VB into the mix is a bad idea - not with regards to the language itself but the fact that the VB.Net coders won't learn C# and possibly vice-versa.

Hi, I am using the Calendar control. Instead of using the buttons to move to next month, I want to put a dropdown list , and display the calendar based on that selection. Same for the year. Any help/links would be greatly appreciated.

My application receives and displays Heart sounds and ECG's in real time. This data comes from a proprietary USB 2.0 device. Unlike most USB devices, this data comes in short bursts of about 24 bytes. These bursts could come as fast as every millisecond. The display of the sound and ECG traces is similar to an oscilloscope display except a blank space of about 5 pixels is shown as it sweeps across the screen. This means that not only is...

I have a .NET application installed on a server. It runs fine when I run an instance on my PC. My question is, is it possible to run a .NET app hosted on a server without having the framework installed on the client PC?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
