event handler with VC++ NET

In VC++ . NET designer, if I double click on a button on
my form , the IDE generates an event handler for Click
event.
Is there a way to generate event handler for other events
like MouseOver, LostFocus, ...
In VB6 there are 2 dropdown lists : one to choose an
object and the other to choose the event to manage.
Is there something like this in .NET ?
Thanks

In design view, in the property windows for the control, select the events tab. Double click away.

Hi all, I coded a python COM object that runs in a pythonw local server as a STA. This object creates and advises a VC++ COM object to receive its event. Those events are sent by worker threads. The VC++ object is free threaded. As a consequence call between my STA python object and apartment are marshalled through proxy.

Hi, I'm trying to get intimate with my new copy of the .NET Pro developing environment, specifically C++ Visual Studio. I have a book (VC++ in 21 days) that I am going through following their examples. However the book treats the MS VC++ 6.0 environment and I...as I mentioned am learning .NET. It hasn't been too large a problem so far, I'm have a comp sci degree and have done plenty of c++ so where the two don't match up I've been...

In general, some controls can have events handlers attached to them, typically via the += operator. How does one remove an event handler added this way? Or, just as good for my purposes, how can one remove all event handlers attached?

under ASP.NET, single stepping in debug mode appears not to stop within event procedures. i.e. 1) Create web page with submit button and event procedure for the click event in the code behind page, 2) Breakpoint in the Page_Load, 3) debug the web page and click the submit button, 4) "step into" under debug several times, 5) The debugger does not stop at any of the statements in the click event handler. A breakpoint is needed in each...

Hi Everyone, I have a few form classes that inherit from the same base class. The main reason that this is done is that some event handlers are common between these classes and I was trying to save time and not have to put a event handler in every form class. The base class has an event handler for Edit.Enter and Edit.Leave so that it can turn the Edit menu items on and off.

I am using managed VC++ code in a Win Form App. There is a text box - txtRONumber. I have defined a KeyDown event handler (non-default) for it, like below. InitializeComponent() is being called from Constructor of the Form Class. void InitializeComponent(void) { this->txtRONumber = (gcnew System::Windows::Forms::TextBox()); this->txtRONumber->Location = System::Drawing::Point(151, 35);

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
