Hi,
say I have an xml file with an X number of nodes I want to loop through (to,
for example, display each node as a HyperLink in an asp.net webpage). Which
of both is best practice:
1. Loop through a NodeList (e.g.: foreach XmlNode in XmlNodeList ... )
2. or use an XPathNodeIterator
Are there any differences in performance? Are both used for different

Hi,
please clarify this doubt about XPathNodeIterator..the following XSLT uses this..
my doubt is, by looking at the XSLT, i thought the output to be Book1..but the actual output is Book1Book2Book3Book4..
as I understand, func method is called only once and XPathNodeIterator.MoveNext() is called only once..and how is this concatenated output??
tia,
avnrao.

Hi,
I am writing an ASP.NET web applications which uses an xml file to display
html content on the web pages. My problem is that using the Value property
of the current object of the XPathNodeIterator cuts out the embedded html
tags.
How can I, using an XPathNodeIterator, output the entire contents of a node
even if it has child nodes?

Hello,
I have been trying to get data from an xml file with a namespace. I
have followed the example in the MSDN, but I get no data in t he
XPathNodeIterator, but the file has the data I am trying to extract.
...
XPathNavigator navigator = xmlDoc.CreateNavigator();
// xpathQuery = "/ProductInformation/ProductNumber"
XPathExpression expr = navigator.Compile( xpathQuery );

Hi,
I am testing the scenario to migrate from MSMXL4 to .NET2.0 system.xml. I
experienced xsl file loading problem whenever the xsl file have a user
defined script in it. The error message is as follow:
"Objects of type 'Script2' do not have such a member"
The above error only happens when I set the XsltSettings.TrustedXslt ans use
the following statement to load xsl file:

I'm trying to iterate through a set of nodes and then edit/delete
specific attributes using XPathNodeIterator. Adding attributes is no
problem.
My first question is how do I delete an attribute using an
XPathNodeIterator? Or should I be using something else?
In the sample that follows:
1. Grab all "Page" nodes.
2. Loop through all the nodes.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
