Order of serialization of attributes

Hi,

is there a way to control the order XmlSerializer serializes attributes?
With this class, value is serialized before value. Although it shouldn't
matter, I would like it the other way around, just for style.

<Property value="" label="name" />

public __gc class Property
{
public:

Property();
Property(System ::String* l, System::String* v);

[System::Xml::Se rialization::Xm lAttributeAttri bute]
__property System::String* get_label();
__property void set_label(Syste m::String* l);

[System::Xml::Se rialization::Xm lAttributeAttri bute]
__property System::String* get_value();
__property void set_value(Syste m::String* v);

[System::Xml::Se rialization::Xm lTextAttribute]
__property System::String* get_Content();
__property void set_Content(Sys tem::String* s);

private:

System::String* m_label, *m_value, *m_content;

};

I think you would need to implement IXmlSerializabl e (i.e., implement
the serialization entirely on your own using XmlWriter) to have this
degree of control over the order of attributes' serialization.

Hello, What I am trying todo is use .NET serialization to take a Guid property that is an attribute in the XML document and have its output to be the same as Guid.NewGuid().ToString().ToUpper().Replace("-","") I have a working copy of this type of class that will work generating an element with the output i have and the following is an example of that code. What i run into is making the element an attribute then it breaks and does not...

Hi, I've had a lot of trouble finding a good tutorial showing deep serialization in XML in C#. All samples I've found shows merely serialization of a single class. If I want to serialize members of a class like the 'data' member of the Person class when I serialize the person object - which attributes do I need to use? public class Person

Hi y'all, we're using a bunch of classes in a project, that we wanted to convert to-from xml easily. So, we defined XmlAttribute annotations for our class members and all worked fine. The Xml stream came from an external source with a custom xml schema, so we had no alternative. However, along the way we came to the point that we must expose those classes as return types for a web service. Returning an instance of a class through the...

We are using ACAServices in our project, and are passing entity classes as parameters to the ACAServiceMethod. We are using a private variable entityState to indicate whether the entity is new/updated and so on. At present we are not using any custom serialization in our project, we just decorate the entity class with “Serializable†attribute as shown below:

Before going to that i want to say few thing on serialization : Serialization is the process of converting an object into a form that can be readily transported. For example, you can serialize an object and transport it over the Internet using HTTP between a client and a server. On the other end, deserialization reconstructs the object from the stream. XML serialization serializes only the public fields and property values of an object...

Hello, I hope this is the right place to post a question on Boost. If not, please let me know where I can post this message and I will do so. I am having a strange problem with std::string as I am trying to read from a binary archive using Boost serialization. I am new to this, and it is possible that I have not understood the usage. In the code below, the string "faultblock" seems to be causing the problem. The code crashes in the ia...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
