Hi.
I want to be able to create a persistent connection between an XML-RPC
client and server... i.e. I want to be able to login once, carry
out a number of calls and then logout rather than send login info for
every call.
Is there a way to do this with the xml-rpc code in the standard library?

transformations at work here. I bought the O'Reilly book
Learning xlst for kicks. Someone at work sent me this
xml shown below, they wanted me to try to output some simple
text which summarizes the basic data in the xml and do it without
perl.
After that I guess they will want me to convert other xml files

As a technical author and translator, I am highly interested in single
source/multi format publishing. Meaning: I'd like to keep manuals,
technical specifications etc. in multiple languages (English, French)
in a *single* repository (<- files or database) and generate documents
in the various languages and target formats (XHTML, PDF, HTML Help,

I have been promising an object orientated ASM IDE for a while now.
Trying to make the best of what is already here, I have made a compiler,
that will parse XML code and output ASM files.
The program still needs an internet interface (will do that tommorow),
but here is an example of what the code looks like, to wet your appetite:

I am having some trouble validating XML using the XmlValidatingReader.
I have created some xml and used the visual studio to generate the
schema. So I am confident that the xml and schema match.
The problem I am having is that the validation event fires for each
node in the xml. It seems to be completely ignoring the schema that I
have used.
I'm wondering if I need to do something extra to tell the xml which
schema to use.

vendor. I have looked at Apose, and may end up using their product. I am
also looking at the capability of SQL Server 2005 reporting services to
produce multi-worksheet workbooks.
