HTML Help Hang When Clicking "List Topics" in "Search" Tab

We developed an in-process COM object for our own application. A toolbar
button is used to activate the COM object. But when the COM object loaded,
the HTML help hang when clicking the "List Topics" in "Search" tab. The HTML
help work nornally without loading the COM.

Can anyone provide some starting points, so that I can look at the problem ?

Thanks in advacne.

I have a drop down combo box that gives the user to enter an item not in the list by adding it to the list. The list is a table. It works fine on Access2003 but fails on Access2002/XP. ON XP, it seems to work, shows the message that the entry has been added, then I get an Access error saying the item is not in the list. Here is my code: Private Sub Combo10_NotInList(NewData As String, Response As Integer) intAnswer = MsgBox("The...

Ok, given that this is a windows ocx, it should be pretty easy to do this but I just haven't been able to figure it out. What I have is a datagrid on my form populated with various pieces of information. What I would like is to be able to start typing and have the datagrid move to the thing I'm typing if it exists. For example given the list: Ant

Hi, Yet another thing I need help with I'm affraid. I'll first explain what I want, then I'll try to explain what I have. I'm using Microsoft Access 2000. What I want is to be able to do a search, taking it's criteria fro a text box on a form. This bit is easy, done it a jazillion times. But I want it to be an "Or" search. If I type in it "Cakes, Cheese", I don't want it to bring up results that contain cakes AND cheese, I want it to bring...

Hello, I have a problem when I run search, I have fields for: name, clientID and phoneNo. When a client calls I need to find them in the database, they might give me the name and it might not be spelled correctly, I need to search by phoneNo. (the fastest way!) I place the cursor in the appropriate field and click search. when the find window opens up, by default, the Look in: field is: 'Main application form: form' and the 'search field...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
