Strange Problem With UserControl in VS.NET 2005

Hi all.
i have a strange problem
i have done a User Control, in wich i have placed a few buttons inside it
and place it in an form.
in the previous version of .NET (2003), i have try to access the controls
property of my usercontrol and there were no controls inside it
but now in .NET 2005 i have access the same controls property and it have
there all buttons that i have put inside.

this is very strange, because anyone can have access to my control buttons.

is there any workarround ? for this, or its a microsoft bug ?

I recently made a UserControl consisting of buttons in a frame. The problem is that random strange markings appear sometimes under the buttons. They can be 'wiped off' with another window, and re-marked also with other windows (by dragging them over). Anyone know the problem and/or the cure? Otherwise things seem to work good. I have been playing around with the cls and refresh methods of UserControl, refresh for the Buttons & Frame, with...

I have a strange problem with a Windows Forms application. It installs and runs fine on my development machine but consistently comes up with errors on any installed machine. I get an error about an unhandled exception as the application starts up. If I go to debugger I get the error showing as : Unhandled exception generated: (0x04941b54)

Hi group I've got a usercontrol containing a textbox and alongside the textbox there's a combobox. I draw this control on top of a grid. So when the user clicks certain columns in the grid the control appears at the right place. This all works just fine except the z-order, at the beginning my usercontrol contained 2 comboboxes and the z-order was ok. But as I said before now it's a textbox and a combobox and since I've changed one of the...

Hi, I'm getting a really terrible and anoying bug/problem in VS.NET 2005: 1. Create a new Windows Application. 2. Add a new class Class1. 3. Add a usercontrol UserControl1. 4. Add a public instance of Class1 to UserControl1 (with WithEvents): "Public WithEvents ThisClass As New Class1". 5. Build the Solution, and put an instance of UserControl1 on Form1.

I have a Form (FV&C) containing a userconrtrol (CF&E) I do a ShowDialog for the form and the form's Load calls a method of the UserControl. The first time I do this the usercontrol appears on the form as I'd expect after the method had been run. The second time I do this the usercontrol appears on the form as if the usercontrols Load had last been run.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
