The error message: 0x791f0d83 referenced memory at 0x0000000003. The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate and Cancel to debug.
When I debug, it states that it is an unhandled exception and the debugger can not trap the error (or something similar). Interesting enough the same exact error message has been reported on the web for a completely unrelated .NET project. The address is closest to two open DLLs in memory, mscoree.dll...

Hi,
In debugging a core dump, I run purify against my code, it says
several "Free Memory Read" errors. All the errors are on one delete
statement. Usually this means some pointer is deleted by non-owner. But
it is really hard to locate the error code.
The code structure is like this:

10mb and split the this content and clear the buffer and read the second 10

included in a try/catch block that actually handles any exceptions that

So, I have my little .Net 2.0 C# utilities out in the wild and occasionally
they have bugs(!). Often the bugs are easy to troubleshoot remotely but
occasionally I would like to write detailed trace info to a simple text file
that I could use to further track down the bugs. Additionally, somewhat
related, it would be useful to be able to get the line number where an
exception was thrown, which is slightly different than a debug log, but...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
