Hi
I am trying to set my windows xp pro system up so that i can write and test
..asp pages.I have followed the instructions given by www.w3schools.com to
install the internet information services components. however, it says that
I should then get an icon for ISS on the taskbar that will allow me to press
'start' so that my asp pages will work, but I have no such icon. I have
tried reinstalling several times but with no change.

Hi All
Apols to past readers who may have seen something like this a couple of days
ago in this NG, but I'm on a different track.
Basically does anybody know what the answer is for when you visit a web site
(more so with IE 6 and WinXP) and some of the pics (gifs/jpgs) don't appear.
Instead the white box with the red cross takes it's place until you
right-click on the pic and select Show Pictures.

I created a .Net add-in for Microsoft Excel.When the application load, all
the images that will be used in the application will be loaded. I have a few
forms, and some of them contain ListView control. I used the LargeIcon view
with 72x40 pixel icons. The listview has about 20 items.
My problem is: Sometime the image is not displayed. The space for the image

I'd like references on where to find some good (quality) icons to use for
form and application icons (for the EXE). Most of the free stuff isn't that
great looking and there isn't a good selection. A site offering previews of
icons or purchase of a single icon would be nice.

Hi all,
I hope this isn't a symptom of something more serious, but when I start
Visual studio 2003, the icons that used to be shown underneath
"installed products from the visual studio family" are now missing and
there's just an empty space.
Is there a fix for this?

is getting the proper icon for the folders and items.
In windows explorer there are many different icons and most seem to be in
the shell32.dll. The problem is that there also seems to be custom icons
that are installed by applications.
