non-sequential XSL(T) processing

Hello

I've got array of data / nodes in XML file. Each node has property of
'rate'.
I know that XSL(t) processor works in non-sequential way, but maybe there
exists any solution to sort data according to 'rate' order, i.e. transform
them
in this order.

TIA

Does <xsl:sort>, documented here:
<http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#sorting>
not work for you?

If not then please show what you have tried and show the relevant input
XML.

Han
Sounds like xsl:sort. Use it as final or mid-tier.

Hi, There are great Python Web Application Framework. But most of them are meant for content oriented web apps. Is there something that can ease the development of application that are not content oriented(I call them "NON CONTENT-ORIENTED WEB APPLICATIONS" because I don't know what else to call them). I mean the applications like, accounting, high volume data entry apps, where normally GUI clients have ruled. I know very high...

Hi. I found the following when trying to learn if there is such a thing as a non-breaking hyphen. Apparently Unicode has a ‑ but that is not well-supported, especially in older browsers. Somebody somewhere said: Alternately, you can use CSS to declare a class having: ..nowrap { white-space:nowrap } .... and then wrap the compound word in a <span class=nowrap></span> tag (or any other suitable inline tag). You can also try {...

I'm using a 3rd party component in an ASP.NET 1.1 Web application. The component has a .Click event that can be fired from the client, with an associated event procedure in the code-behind module. The logic in the click event procedure may, under some conditions, need to abort further processing. AFAIK the control's event is not cancellable. At least its EventArgs does not have any apparent support for .Cancel. So, what can I do to...

Hi I would like to set a Windows.Form into a non responsive state, i.e. that it does not respond to user input of any kind, similar to the state a forms gets when another modal form is opened ontop with ShowDialog(). Form.Enabled = false is not what I'm looking for, it changes the look of the form by graying the window caption and the controls and is (very) slow, too. I need this behaviour to prevent the user from entering data or...

PEP 1 specifies that PEP authors need to collect feedback from the community. As the author of PEP 3131, I'd like to encourage comments to the PEP included below, either here (comp.lang.python), or to python-3000@python.org In summary, this PEP proposes to allow non-ASCII letters as identifiers in Python. If the PEP is accepted, the following identifiers would also become valid as class, function, or variable names: Löffelstiel,...

A script I've implemented is doing this annoying thing where it works in mozilla only if you have Firebug installed. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
