Does anyone know how to use the SHAppBarMessage (or any other way for that
matter) invoked method to autohide the taskbar or resize it? I need to
either autohide or resize it before removing the taskbar so my app will take
up that space. The app is an MDI, so I can't use FormStyle.None.

I have an AppBar that works fine, except for one problem. It's stealing
focus
-The AppBar is written in C#
-Access to it is via a COM object
-Main app is a C++ app.
-Button on app will use com to access C# object which pops up AppBar
-When the appbar is floating it works fine, but when it is docked it wants
to have the focus all the time.
-If you click on the main app window the focus will blink and go back to the

examples of appbars for VB6 but I'd like a VB.NET example so that it
exploits the latest code tricks if any. I've found a C# version too but
again, I'd like to get a VB.NET example under my belt.

I have a simple form with a toolstrip on it and some toolstrip buttons.
Tooltips work fine.
But then I use the ShAppBarMessage API call to register the form as an
Application Desktop Toolbar. That's when the tooltips seem to stop working.
Does anybody know why this is so?
I heard SP1 for Visual Studio 2005 is imminent so if nobody can help,
I'll cross fingers and see if it is a VS2005 bug rather than my own

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
